About The Showw LLC

Hassan Smith founded the Showw LLC in 2005 upon receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Administration with a minor in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University. As a former athlete with a passion for youth services with strong connection to current and former NBA, collegiate and european players and coaches, Hassan saw an opportunity to use his relationships and his degree to educate and support area youth while providing unparalleled athletic training.

Combining his background in professional and collegiate sports with over 7 years experience as a mentor and counselor to at risk youth, Hassan created a program that teaches life skills which stress the importance of respect for themselves and others, education, teamwork, discipline and cooperation, while establishing moral values through basketball.

After sharing his vision with his brother and professional basketball player Shammond Williams and long time friend and professional basketball player David Noel, Hassan saw that they, like many other players, share his passion but simply do not have the time to devote towards creating and operating a program such as the one Hassan was offering through The Showw LLC. With The Showw LLC's program and the players support and name recognition with in their respective communities both The Shammond Williams Basketball Skills Camp and The David Noel Basketball Skills Academy touched the lives of over 150 boys and girls in their inaugural years.
